MAC UPGRADE SERVICES

Macxperts offers several upgrade service options to keep your Mac running faster, better and longer. Typical Mac upgrades include memory, hard drives, SSD drives, and adding a second hard drive or SSD drive with an Optibay drive upgrade kit.  Each of these Mac upgrade options are described below. 

 

Most Macxpert Mac upgrade services can usually be performed within 2-3 business days.  A "Next in Queue" rush service is available for clients requiring the quickest available turnaround.

MEMORY UPGRADES

Macxpert offers memory upgrades for all Mac models. MacXperts stocks a wide selection of the most commonly needed memory upgrades starting as low as $59 each. All of the memory cards Macxpert sells come with a lifetime warranty.

 

Macxpert memory upgrades for the Mac can usually be performed on a while-you-wait basis, the entire process including installation and testing taking approximately 15 minutes. Please note that memory upgrades for some less common Mac models or for vintage Mac models may require additional shop time and/or special ordering of memory.

HARD DRIVE UPGRADES 

Macxpert offers hard drive upgrades for all Mac models. Macxpert stocks hard drives for Mac laptop models in 500GB, 1TB and 2TB sizes, and for Mac desktop models in 1TB, and 2TB  sizes.

 

Additional size Mac hard drives are available by special order.  All of the hard drives Macxperts sells come with a manufacturer warranty of one year or more.

 

Macxpert offers optional Mac data transfer services as part of any hard drive upgrade service. Keane can also perform optional Mac data recovery services if the existing hard drive has failed. Please note that hard drive upgrade work orders with optional data transfer or data recovery services may require additional shop time.

SSD UPGRADES

Macxpert  offers SSD (solid state drive) drive upgrades for all Mac models. Macxpert stocks standard 2.5" SSD drives for Mac laptop models and desktop models in 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB sizes. Additional size Mac SSD drives are available by special order, as are SSD drives for the MacBook Pro Retina and MacBook Air models. All of the SSD upgrade drives Keane sells come with a manufacturer warranty of three years or more.

 

Macxpert offers optional Mac data transfer services as part of any SSD drive upgrade service.
