There are a number of reasons that can cause your MacBook and MacBook Pro LCD screen to break. At cleangreencomputer, we have repaired literally hundreds Mac laptop screens and we are pleased to present some suggestions for you to help prevent the screen from breaking. The number one reason for the screens broken accidental damage – here’s how to avoid accidentally break or damage your MacBook Pro LCD:

First, get a case for your MacBook. Keeping your MacBook Pro in a padded case, you will help eliminate the damage that is caused by carrying your MacBook Pro without a case. We receive weekly systems in which the owner has fallen after the execution of their MacBook outside of the case. Get a case of good and use it.

Be careful when you close the lid on the MacBook Pro. Apple recommends using both hands when closing the lid of your Mac – a hand in every corner. It sounds silly, but if you grab a corner of the screen and pull down, you can actually break the screen.

Do not leave anything on the keyboard of the MacBook Pro – nothing. This means pencils, pens, paper clips, etc.. We see broken MacBook Pro systems come every day to repair a customer closed the screen and forgot to remove an item that was placed on top of the keyboard or by chance, resulting in a cracked LCD screen MacBook Pro.

Liquid is the worst enemy of LCD screen so keep keep away as far as possible! Keep your drink away from your MacBook Pro If you can spill a drink that is close to your MacBook Pro, you can easily pour the liquid on your LCD monitor or keyboard.

Both are events that you want to avoid. Liquid in contact with your MacBook Pro LCD screen can cause a short circuit or crack and liquid on the keyboard usually continues to move down to your logic board and other components – this is bad.

Another recommendation is to be very careful about what you put in the bag with your MacBook Pro The bag must have a separate compartment for your laptop that is protected from the rest of the things I know will be finding its way into the bag fantasy again.

Do not let your mobile phone, iPod or whatever push up against your MacBook Pro – the added pressure (especially when you start moving around the bag and thrown into the machine (launch=bad) can cause your MacBook Pro LCD screen to crack or if the cause minimal damage.

If you still wind up breaking your MacBook Pro LCD, with a big ugly crack or just a black screen that greets you when you turn on your Mac, Cleangreencomputer  can help! We offer a turnaround time of 24 hours on repairs that are performed by Apple-certified technicians and we are back our repairs with a 1-year warranty on parts and labor.
